Hey lookit! A fancy new website! After toodling around with this site for the better part of two years, I figured it was high time to actually get organized and go live. Anyway, I'm pretty excited about it, but I wanted to point out a few improvements over the previous site. The main differences are that I now have a built-in "Shop" feature, meaning you can purchase items directly through the site (instead of just, you know, pounding on the shop door with fistfuls of cash like normal), as well as new sections about lettercarving, Eames Chair repair, and teaching classes. I have also split the "Current" section into two parts: the "Blog" section will remain here, and be reserved for longer posts, as well as (I'm hoping, as time permits) book and tool reviews. For the very latest in shop updates, I would recommend heading over to Shop Notes. I update this page unnervingly often (when I am in the shop, about every hour or so), so stay tuned!
I am hoping that the new layout will on the whole be both more intuitive and inviting. So by all means, if you have a minute or two, click around and see what you think. I'd love to hear from you. Enjoy!
