Lie-Nielsen Hand Tool Event! Oct. 26 &27!

It's that time again...Lie-Nielsen Toolworks is coming back to Houston!  We had an amazing turnout last year, and I was delighted and honored that the fine folks from Warren, Maine would want to once again set up shop (if only for a few days) at the shop.

As usual, both Friday and Saturday should be packed with ongoing hand tool demonstrations.  Rumor has it that both Kevin Drake (of Glen-Drake Toolworks) and Frank Strazza (of Homestead Heritage School of Woodworking in Waco, Texas) will be in attendance, and if I can manage to stop endlessly talking shop, I will try to fit in a lettercarving or bowl-making demo as well.

As always, the event is both free and open to the public.

From Lie-Nielsen:

This is a wonderful opportunity to try out our extensive line of hand tools & learn how great tools make your woodworking easier!  Our skilled staff conduct demonstrations to help demystify the world of hand tools and answer your questions. We cover topics like sharpening, tool use and care, and joinery techniques.  Lie-Nielsen hand tools are available for purchase at every Event.
