Holy moly! 1,000 (and 2) followers!

Just a quick thank you to everyone who has followed along with my adventures in furnituremaking.  So…thank you!

For anyone who might just now be tuning in, my name is Clark Kellogg, and I design and build custom furniture at my shop in here in Houston, Texas.  I am trained as a woodworker (I attended the Center for Furniture Craftsmanship’s Nine-Month Program, and later, the College of the Redwoods’ Fine Woodworking Program), and work more or less exclusively in wood.  You can also have a look at my portfolio (should you for some reason feel so inclined) here

As for the blog itself, this is meant to be primarily a record of what-all goes in to making a piece of custom furniture by hand.  I don’t generally spend much time on posts (honestly, I try to spend as little time as possible) - it is usually just a snapshot of whatever it is I seem to be working on at the moment, and then on to the next thing.  That said, if you have any questions about anything you see here, by all means please feel free to ask.

Thanks again, and happy woodworking!
