Some tiny splines to reinforce the miters. These will eventually get covered up with veneer, and disappear into the structure of the box. Sometimes I think it would be fun to run an old piece through an X-ray machine, just to see what happens to all the tenons and dowels and other little bits and pieces that are critical to making a thing, but (at least if things go according to plan) will never be seen again. #letsmakeawatchbox
